The error message is telling you that the system thinks LDEV 11 is part of a
volume set. This is also probably why the system locked up. If in fact you
have not configured LDEV 11 as part of a volume set, frankly I can't see how
you could have, then there probably is a bug. Call the HPRC and report the
issue and/or go to the patch web site.
