Whups, it seems I missed an opportunity to place my vote (for ??? -- dunno
if that would have helped if I voted for myself... [note to Jon, yes, I
would like to see the detailed results, please respond to this "osnut"
address])

While I had sent a message some time ago placing my bid for a position, it
was of a very informal nature -- since I was out-of-town and completely away
from e-mail from 6:30am monday until about an hour ago, "everything" seems
to have happened -- whatever Jon extracted from my comments was posted,
folks voted, votes were tallied, and only those selected are now listed on
the page, so I don't know if my comments were coherent and/or complimentary,
but from a message I received from Jon, I did indeed receive a vote or two
(thanks!) so they must not have been too bad... ;)

Although it seems that not being selected is "water under the bridge" at
this point, how and/or where will the "board" meet, and will these meetings
be "open" to those interested in participating?
