Speaking of which, has anyone else had fits with AIFSysWideGet in C.50.00?
Our favorite utility went belly up with a simple MPE name lookup, returning
"Error: info: -10017 subsys: 516 Search key is not valid with the pathname
specified."

Odd. It works under 4.0. Well, I browsed the new AIF manual and
discovered that the search key parameter has been expanded under 5.0.
I don't like code suddenly becoming forward-incompatible, but I could
live with this.

However, changing the parm to the documented structure fails with other
errors. For giggles I fired up DEBUG and looked for the parameter
definition there . . . AND IT IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT IS DOCUMENTED IN
THE 5.0 MANUAL! To summarize, 4.0 code dies on 5.0 due to changed
parms that appear to be incorrectly documented in the 5.0 manual.
And people wonder why I have the ecconomy sized bottle of aspirin
on my desk.

To cut to the chase, we still do not have the code working, can't figure
out what has changed and why it is generating the errors and HP isn't
developing any answers. Anyone who has been down this path, please
e-mail your solutions.
