Let me know how that works, I'd like to try it. I put my WEB Consoles on a Serail 'A/B' switch. Probably not a good solution, but it is necessary for the following reason.
The HP Secure WEB Console pretty much sucks. I bought two of'em, and both of'em have the same problem. For no apparent reason, without any warning, they hang. The only way to 'Un-hang' them is to close the console and re-access it, losing all terminal buffer history. The 'Get History' function will always put it in a 'HUNG' state. I brought this up on the list once, trying to find out what I might be doing wrong, settings or configurations or what? Others on the list have the same problem, and nothing seems to over come the problem. I have updated them to the latest firmware, I've went as far as to put them on a separate network all by them selves, but they still continue to hang.

Has anyone successfully built a "Y" adapter to run both a terminal and the
Web Console at the same time? Yes, I know HP doesn't support it. Thanks.
John
