I believe that Winston's summary covers everything that motivated the
multithreaded discussions on HP3000-L. Just imagine the time, talent,
energy, attention, and so on, that went into writing all of these messages.
I can really appreciate the hours that Winston invested writing his
message. Wouldn't all of us rather do something else? I have a feeling
that we will soon be able to go back to writing software (or to managing
people who write software). If Winston writes that HP is "working hard to
improve our internal processes to ensure that MPE is appropriately
positioned in future communications", I believe him. (For the cynics
among us, please do NOT read "appropriately" in an inappropriate way.)

I look forward to the new era of awareness for MPE, at all levels of HP,
which will benefit everyone: HP Management, HP e3000 customers & vendors,
HP's stockholders, as well as those dedicated folks at CSY who work
extra-long hours to bring to the world a superb computing platform.
