I suggest you call your HP Response Center if you have support.

Looking at my 7.0.1 system I see these procedures are hidden so are
uncallable.
This happened in 5.5 and 6.0 when a particular Vplus patch was released and 
appears to have resurfaced in the 7.0 build.

There is a beta Vplus patch - VPLLX49 (D) - After restoring the files you
can
list the RL to see if the procedures are hidden.

LinkEd> rl R02LX49D.PATCHXL.SYS

vgetsavefield    0 H 3 3 entry univ  V3000_9
                   ^
                    The H is for Hidden symbol

To fix this you can do a revealrl entry=vgetsavefield/vputsavefield and
continue with the patch install.

I suspect this isn't a much used intrinsic or it would have been noticed
before.
