FYI, Lance Armstrong, a fellow Texan, has won 4 consecutives Tour de France.
Whilst I am not a bike fanatic, my older brother is. When he turned 50 last
year, his wife bought him gave him a trip to France to catch the end of the
Tour de France and watch Lance win his third consecutive title.

What is amazing is the French think Lance uses doping to enhance his
performance. They think no non-European could possibly win so decisively
without performance enhancing drugs. Of course, Lance has been tested and
retested over and over again, and they never found anything, while a whole
bunch of other racers have tested positive for all sorts of interesting
substances.

Even though the Tour de France ended several weeks ago, Lance is already
training for the next one.

If Lance was French, he would actually rule France. Winning the Tour de
France so decisively and so many times is simply astounding. Americans just
do not realize the scope of his accomplishments. This is like someone
winning all four majors each year for 4 years running in golf, winning the
Super Bowl 4 years in a row, winning the World Series and be the top home
run hitter in MBL 4 years in a row, combined.

You can visit www.letour.fr for more information.

He was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1997 and missed that season. He
was picked up by US Postal Service in 98. In 99, 00, 01 and 02 he won the
Tour de France, along with a whole list of other events.

Also, if you want to spend a month in Paris washing dishes, might I suggest
the restaurant "Au Pied de Cochon" in Les Halles or La Tour d'Argent. I
don't do bikes, I do restaurants. :)

Kind regards,

Denys. . .
