You are correct in that I was agreeing that communism and socialism are not
inherently evil, as US propaganda has literally brainwashed many Americans
into thinking.  I can't give you examples of where they have worked, but I
also don't think that means they wouldn't, under the right circumstances,
nor that they are inferior to capitalism.  One could ask for examples of
where capitalism "worked"; given the shrinking middle class and the rampant
greed so evident in the US.  Given the wrong circumstances, capitalism
would also fail.  How do we really know that these other forms are not
eventually going to be proven superior to capitalism as societies evolve?
