Hi all,

First, I know little to nothing about networking, but was
asked to see if I could find out anything about this error:

We have NETPRINT from Minisoft, and from time to time, we
have the users call in that jobs are not printing. When we look at the
error log for NETPRINT (NP92LOG), we can see a SOCKERR 67 followed by a
SOCKERR 34. NETPRINT, although still running, no longer sends output to
any remote printers. AT present, to correct the problem (and get the
jobs printing again), we stop and restart the NETPRINT job.

Back in JUNE, the output buffers were increased to see if
that would stop this problem, but to no avail.

Thus, as best I can phrase a question given my limited
knowledge of networking, does anyone else have this problem with
NETPRINT, and if yes, how did they solve it?

I searched the archives and did find mention (May of 2006) of the exact
errors and sequence we have, but no follow up threads as to a cure:

TIA for any help on this.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in a pretty and
well preserved body, but rather to skid in
broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming:

-- WOW!!! What a Ride!!!
