We've noted in some COBOL programs which include a SORT, that at a certain
point when adding code, a bounds violation occurs when attempting to call
our SPl-based cursor control routine.

To fix, we take out the INPUT PROCEDURE and OUTPUT PROCEDURE of the SORT
statement and replace with a temporary file USING/GIVING. Any jobs that
run this program should BUILD the temporary file, then PURGE at EOJ.
