I would have said the same thing...good point - DFS is not AFS, although
they both rely on kerberos authentication schemes.
 
The spec for DCE includes much more than what will be offered by HP.  I
believe only RPC (remote procedure calls) and threads programming will be
supported on the initial release between an HP9000 and HP3000.
 
Check out the last teleconference work book on DCE.  Maybe a follow up from
HP would be nice? and how to get my hands on any DCE documentation?
