Should be able to just remove the 'IA' cap from this users capabilities.
Give it 'BA,SF,ND' that should be enough.

good luck

Subject: [HP3000-L] Restricted CI access and FTP

I am running MPE/iX 5.5, so I do not have the anonymous FTP features that
6.x does, so I am looking for a workaround.

I want to create a user that will be able to use FTP, but not be able to
login to the CI prompt. In other words, the account can be accessed only
via FTP. If the user tries to start an interactive connection, the system
will refuse to log him in. And, all I want the user to be able to do during
the FTP session is to PUT and GET files in a specific account.group.

Can I do this, and what user capabilities, and UDC commands could I use to
accomplish this?

Thanks
