Our console has gotten hung also.  The Response Center told us to:

1. Power console off
2. Hold "D" key down
3. While holding "D" key, power unit on
4. Let go of "D" key after hearing 2 beeps, about 15 seconds
5. hit return after message "Using default settings, press return to
clear" appears.
