We have a 918 that is having problems connecting to the network.  The
multifunction card appears to be configured correctly for 10Base-T.  The
transceiver shows traffic and the LINKCONTROL statistics show that data is
being received but not transmitted.  We have changed the LAN card, the
transceiver, and the cable.  The 918 can communicate at the MAC layer to a
DTC, and is handling download requests.  PING.NET.SYS returns an error that
the host is unknown.  Attempting to ping the loopback address returns the
same error.  There are no errors on the NETCONTROL START and the NSCONTROL
START commands.  The NSDIR files have been purged and rebuilt through NMMGR
and everything validates.

We are currently on MPE/iX 6.0 but have had the problem with 5.5 pp4 and
pp6.

Any help would be appreciated.
