HP used to sell (circa March 1995) a Maintenance Toolkit package which
contained two utilities called HP Browse ("a screen-oriented browsing
utility for quickly reading and printing a wide variety of MPE files")
and HP Search ("a high-speed facility used to quickly find words and
patterns within files during the problem resolution process").

The product numbers are:

36384A HP Browse/iX Price (as of 11/1/94!) $500.00
36382A HP Browse/V " $400.00
36383A HP Search/iX " $550.00
36381A Hp Search/V " $450.00

Hope this helps.
