Sure the temp space is available.  

Using a scenario, if you made a Group and 
Account Home to that volume set, and also 
created a User who was Home'd to that Group
and Account, where would his Temp files reside?

In Volutil, after you "ADD" the scratch disc
the first time to your backup volume set for
LDEV 60, just do REDO and change the LDEV
number 7 more times.
