hi all!

does mpex maybe have a problem with long file names? this
is from my httpstop job....

*before* anyone gets on their bandwagon -- there's nothing
wrong with these files. i've checked (listfile'd) them and
they're perfectly fine. you can look at them, rename them,
and purge them using both 'rm' and regular purge. this
error really makes me think the problem is inside mpex. has
anyone else seen anything similar?

is there a shell-ish way of doing the same thing i'm doing
with mpex? - d
