HP announced long ago that K class servers will be supported through 2006. Their support web site does not acknowledge the existence of HP 3000's, so I can't confirm that nothing has changed, but I have heard nothing to make me think it has.

Subject: Support on K classes

Hello. I caught wind of a rumor that hardware support on K class boxes will end "soon". I assume that means the A and N classes will be on support until Jan 1, 2007.

Has anybody else heard or gotten letters that K class support is going bye-bye pretty soon?
