Hi all,

I've happened upon a new way to reserve disc space for an UPDATE:

At 8:47 this morning one of the memory boards in my 957 went south a little
bit (or is that: one of the little bits went south?); anyway, zillions of
LPMC entries are being written to the system log files. The entries are
being written so often that log files are filling up about every minute.

Let's see: 8192 sectors in a log file * 1440 minutes in a day gives about 12
million sectors of log files per day. I've got about 36 million sectors
available to permanent so I can keep this up for three days.

Cool!
