The most frequently asked questions come in several categories.
It all depends on what the goals are for use of the NT platform.
Usually users want the NT system to co-exist with the HP 3000 and
9000 therefore the first questions tend toward the interoperability
issues.  For example sharing files and programs, mail and messaging,
network connectivity and system management issues (especially backup).
Some users think beyond the immediate needs and ask about
such issues as security management, batch job scheduling, software
distributions, performance, etc.  However that's unusual today.

We are increasingly finding clients who want some kind of middleware
connection between NT and the HP 3000 or 9000 and invariably some
other computer.  Code migration is another interesting area.  Usually with
a thought of rehosting some application to NT.

Another common interest is in using an NT server as an Internet/Intranet
Web server.  Here again, a middleware connection usually goes hand-in-hand
with the web requirement if a database is to be accessed.
