I agree with Wirt and do not mind giving them six months.  Mind you, I was
not around for the Boston Tea Party of Interex/HPWorld past. ;-)

However, I still think the t-shirt and the owl campaign should move forward.
Some pre-exposure to the "Who Knew?" concept would only make our statement
stronger down the road.  I cannot speak for others, but I have been looking
for places to slip the owl into my HPWorld talk.

BTW, out of all of the owls, the snow owl on Wirt's CSY Logo is the best
IMHO (http://www.aics-research.com/csylogo.html).  It has that O'Reilly
flavor to it.

In the mean time, we can help HP understand our position by rewriting press
releases we see in the industry rags.  For example, in the August 2000 issue
of the HP World newspaper, there is an article about how Amazon.com will use
HP for 90% of its infrastructure.  The Amazon.com press release (written by
HP marketing) would say "Amazon.com forms an 'Always-On' relationship with
Compaq and Sun"  It could be fun while we wait.
