    Wayne Holt, of Software Research Northwest fame, worked at Whitman College back then… IIRC he did write a bunch of “utilities” for use on the 3k while he was there…

I looked at Beechglen's freebie section and I did not see MAIL listed there.

Drats!!





I seem to recall that the HP3000 email software was written by someone at Whitman College.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure. It worked well. I could add it to my job streams and have the HP3K

automate the distribution of data via email. It was very handy.





I sure could use something like that again.

There is MAIL.MAIL.ESP from Beechglen. Also a freebie I think.



Since it runs at the command prompt I don't have to dip into the POSIX shell in my batch jobs.
