(from interex hot news....)

HP has announced to HP e3000 support customers, in a letter
dated March 6, that it plans to cease further development of
the Legato NetWorker client for the HP e3000. According to
the letter, the Legato client will cease to be sold after
April 1, 2001, and will be supported for existing customers
on MPE/iX 6.0 through April 1, 2002.

As possible replacements for the Legato NetWorker client, HP
suggests HP OmniBack (now an OpenView product), Veritas
NetBackup, or HiComp HiBack.

"Unix _is_ user friendly.
It's just very selective about who its friends are.
And sometimes even best friends have fights."
