Allbase never much interested me, thus I didn't pay a great deal of attention 
to its pricing or availability, but clearly there was a time when IMAGE was 
bundled into the FOS of MPE and Allbase did not yet exist.

But there was also a time in the early 1990's when IMAGE was unbundled and 
deemed an extra cost item, but at that same time Allbase was bundled into the 
FOS as a no-cost component.

At the end of the HP3000's life, I believe both were essentially bundled into 
MPE's FOS, although HP actually never truly rebundled IMAGE back in. It just 
wound up that way in reality and people stopped talking about it.
