Have you run Robelle's HOWMESSY or the Contributed Software Library's
DBLOADNG reports against the database?
Also, are you running any performance monitor, such as <plug> SOS? <end
plug>

Subject: [HP3000-L] hp3000 with image/sql
we have an image database that's serving so slowly. This problem
seemed to start "out of no where" one day. we've tried using query,
and odbc sql to get data, and either way the database just responds so
slowly. This problem has even survived a reboot :(
anyone have ideas on where to look? None of the tables are even close
to full, and the pid that seems to be locking the box is a system
process. any help would be much appreciated.
