Check SYSGEN : IO on the 957 ...  I suspect you have device classes defined
there, and not on your 979.  AFAIK, most people don't define device classes
for disks in sysgen.  You can generally do what you need in other ways,
like:   restore ; ... ; VOLSET=PRODDISC
