I have been using Samba/iX 0.7c on MPE/iX 5.0 PowerPatch 6 for quite a
while. Most of it should work like on later releases of MPE/iX. One of
the differences that I recall: file modification timestamps. If you open
a file for write access, the modification timestamp will be updated even
if you do not actually write to the file. This was changed with MPE/iX
release 5.5 (see communicator) and this also affects Samba (positively).
