If I remember the original thread (d**n GroupWise doesn't do threading properly) this is exactly what I was referring to.  Although, IIRC, IE also has some of these features which allow you to log on to protected sites automagicaly.

Boris, are you referring to the autofill feature, where the user starts to
type in some element, and the field autofills or choices pop up around the
field?

This is a feature of Win98.  I think it can be turned off, but don't
remember how.
