This morning Leah signed a message that was sent by Deloy
(or something like that... :-) ):

> .... February 17-20, 1999 at the Radisson Inn in Sunnyvale, CA.

IPROF-99 room rate at this Radisson was listed as $140... It is...
I called the hotel to check their current rates, and response was:

Usual walk-in rate: $170
Corporate rate: $150

.... so IPROF rate is $10 better than the corporate rate....
but.... just FYI to all other readers who may be employees of
the US Government: Over many years of occasionally traveling
for Uncle Sam, I have learned that sometimes the Government
rate is the best deal of all. Turns out this is one of those cases:

US Government rate (with official travel orders): $116.

So if any of y'all will be traveling on orders and want to stay at
the Radisson, save yourself $24 a night by identifying yourself
as a Federale when you reserve; and then bring along a copy of
said orders....
