We have used a StorageTek 3480 drive on one of our HP3000 systems for
many years.  It is a 10 cartridge autoloader that can be used in a
sequential mode to read multicartridge volume sets.  Quite stable and
reliable.  In SYSGEN it is configured as type COMP3480.

We also have a newer StorageTek 3490 drive on one of our HP9000 systems,
and it has also worked well.
