WHAT?!?

For $100,000 a month, you can get one H#&& of an HP3000 and it will
certainly run the socks off of the AS400.  Maybe you should look at how
much of a machine that $100,000 would get you and see if they thought
that it would handle the load.  Then it is just a matter of moving down
the performance and cost curve until they are happy. (up the bang for
buck curve  ;-) )
