Unfortunately, as Wirt pointed out -- Image/SQL will fill a field with
spaces or zeros, if that field does not have a value - as opposed to using
NULL, which is the default (unless that field is defined as not allowing
NULL values).
So, if one uses UPDATE or INSERT, and places no value in a field of Type
"X", one gets spaces. Likewise, if no value is placed in a field of type
"Z" or other numeric, one gets a SIGNED ZERO.
