Mark, Lars (and the list),
The system was booted with a START NORECOVERY over the weekend. This a.m. I
was able to purge the /APACHE account and all its groups and subdirectories.

Looks like you may be a victim of patch MPEJXV9B which breaks rm -r and
leaves
bogus non-zero usage counts on POSIX directories which you won't be able to
completely purge unless you reboot your machine.
Patch MPEKXL0A fixes this problem. Use :PURGEDIR ;TREE as a safe workaround
to nuke your POSIX directories until you can install this patch.
