I am responsible for supporting remote sites that have deployed the
Mail Messenger FSC Gateway between OpenDesk and cc:mail. These sites
are experiencing problems with messages that are addressed to
*Everyone/loc/cc, where loc/cc is a location/sublocation defined with
a route to the FSC gateway configured on the same computer. Such
messages are rejected by Mail Messenger or cc:Mail, I'm not sure
which. A couple of workarounds involving setting up duplicate users
or a single dummy user on a local resolvable node and autoforwarding
messages to *Everyone at the resolvable node to the users on loc/cc,
but the local system administrators maintain that certain information
is lost in the translation; namely, the original sender of the
message. So, I'm looking for anyone who has experience with this that
he/she would like to share. I'll watch the list, or you can respond
privately via e-mail to [log in to unmask]
Thanks in advance.
