I recently purchased a HP 3000 S/928 running MPE/iX version 5.0 along
with a DTC72MX configured with 16 modem ports and 56 direct ports. I am
trying to configure the system and DTC so that I can dial out through 1
or more of the DTC modem ports. At this point HP tells me that this
cannot be accomplished and must be done through a add-on PSI card which I
do not have. I want to dial from the 928 to reach a remote HP Micro 3000
GX system. I have also purchased NS3000/XL to communicate to some other
local HP 3000 systems. I mentioned the NS3000/XL because I don't know if
it can or will assist in trying to dial out from the 928 through the DTC.
Can anyone provde any assistance on how this is accomplished.
