Hi everyone,

It's been about a year since I programmed on this particular 3K, and
this problem did not exist back then.

What worked a year ago, is, from Windows using Program Studio a socket
connection is made to the HP3000. Telnet, ftp, and WTRSH protocols are
used somehow to create remote session on the HP3000. This did work in
the past, like I said, its been about a year since I work on this
particular box.

So, what I'm asking is, can some refresh my memory, what are the
possible issues here.

JINTD says:
Received call for: telnet tcp
 Received call for: ftp tcp
 Received call for: telnet tcp
Call to initialize telnet server failed with error -7

Pstudio says:
MPE/iX RPM error 11 calling "RPMCREATE"
PROGRAM ACCESS ERROR.

---------------------------------
Extended error 26 (222822505)
---------------------------------

CONSOLE says:
15:26/#J817/99/Could not receive data from sockets during Telnet device
initialization
15:26/#J817/99/Call to initialize telnet server failed with error -7
15:26/#S183/96/(PROGRAMMATIC) LOGON FOR: "PSTUDIO,MGR.CEPEDI,PUB" ON
LDEV #5.
15:26/#S183/96/LOGOFF ON LDEV #5.

I say:
The windows side configured correctly, Ps can successfully access other
3K machines, no problem. I know of nothing thats changed on this 3K
since the last time I connected to it, obviously something has changed,
I just don't know what else to check!

I can telnet to the box, it works great, I can ftp to the box, no
problem there. It some kind of lower level network issue, related to
RPMCREATE, but I am at a loss, .... ideas?

Any and All ideas, very much appreciated!
