Firewalls and HP3000 networks

Has anybody set up a firewall between the net and an in house LAN and seen
any problems with sessions being lost. The firewall I am evaluating at the
moment seems to be causing NSVT sessions to be chopped. The poor users are
getting a bit upset at loosing their sessions. Both the PC and HP3K are on
the protected network and have not got any gateways configured.

In case I cannot get this firewall to work has anyone got any
recomendations for a firewall.
