I sort of mentioned it in passing, buried in another
previous post, but since you ask directly:
 
I suggest that "front-ending" JAVA on the GNU C++
compiler to allow turning JAVA code into NM PA-RISC
executable on the 3000 should be a formal objective.
This would be in keeping with the ADBC theory of doing
things not just as good as, but better than the competition...
