As were putting together a UK mailshot to send to senior managers at
HP3000 sites in the UK. My imagination has been working on what kind of
adverts I would like to see from HP, that would bring home the message
about the quality, reliability, low cost of ownership etc. of the HP
3000.

Ive started imaging a series of two page adds. First page shows
warehouse with picture of Formula 1 racing car surrounded by 20/30
mechanics and technicians, second page shows same warehouse with
forklift truck, driver and one service mechanic. Banner headline over
the top:

"If you had to run a Warehouse which team would you choose?"

Next sequence of adds:

First Page picture shows field of about 20 Ferraris each with driver and
a packing case in it, second picture shows a single truck with 20
packing cases on it and a single driver. Banner headline:

"If you had to run a distribution company which team would you choose"

Next sequence of adds: Just keep following the theme and make up your
own. If you come up with any good ones let me know.

FINAL ADD

First page shows picture of Computer Room with Unix/NT Box surrounded by
20 or so Database Administrators, System Programmers, Operators, etc,
Second picture shows same computer room HP3000 and two or three people.
Banner headline:

"If you need reliable business computing which team would you choose"
