Not exactly HP3000-related, but very relevant to the field, is the
article at

describing how Kaiser Permanente is implementing an intranet for its
physicians. It mentions that the VAX server they were using as the basis
for their Internet site was not reliable. They were also using a
DOS-based program to interface to a FORTRAN app to retrieve patient info
(as I recall). Now, they're using Netscape and (wait for it, Denys!) NT
on 4,000 DEC workstations. (Why they're sticking with DEC when their VAX
was deemed unreliable I don't know.)
