My attorney and I were talking over the holidays and he told me about no
less than five companies who have contacted his firm over suing various
software companies because of Y2K issues.

To quote my esteemed attorney: "Let the games begin!"

To quote me: "It's going to be a sad year"

The only ones to benefit from this: Attorneys

On the side - I read an article about how the Y2K consultancies, including
the Big 8, are losing revenue because there are still some companies who
think "it'll never happen to me"... sheesh! Now I know why we stayed out
of the Y2K fray. Yes, the money's good (when you can get it), but the
insurance premiums are sky-high and the aggravation isn't worth it.

I guess we'll find out in about 360 days, won't we?

Cheers,
Joe
