Hi all,
Today's _Arizona Republic_, our local birdcage-liner of record, has a
front-page news story about heavy metal contamination in landfills
caused by people throwing away computers. The story includes a picture of
a monitor with labels for the CRT and the yolk, and the story notes that
"the shiny copper yolk can be recycled rather than thrown away."
-- Bruce
PS. Despite the reporter's limitations, the issue is an important one.
Old computers shouldn't be thrown away; they should be carted to computer
recyclers or given to Stan.
