I have installed version 6.5 on two 9x9 servers, with 4gb of memory. While I
have come accross a couple of issues surrounding, Memory problems, (I have 4gb)
system hangs, and STM problems, (Of which HP still is addressing a fix for), as
well as Software clock slippage. I have installed certain patches independently
to address some of the issues, and for the most part the software clock
slippage, and one CPU hang issue, have been corrected.

I plan on installing PP 1 in about 10 days. However, there are several post PP
1 patches (reactive) which should be considered as well. One statement from HP
just yesterday, was "get PP 1 on as soon as possible, as the base 6.5 release is
very user unfriendly." While, I believe this statement is mostly inaccurate,
(in my environment anyway 5,000 users on one machine, and 5,700 users on
another) I have only suffered about, 3 hours of unplanned downtime. If you
install PP 1 plus additonal reactive, you will have nipped most problems
upfront.

Relatively speaking for the amount of users I have on these machines, 6.5 has
been relatively stable. Maybe, I have just been lucky.

I have Installed MPE 6.5 on a test server. I just ordered Powerpatch 1. I
plan on implementing this into our development and production environments
between the thanksgiving and Christmas time frame. When I ordered the patch
from the Response center they pointed out that most sites are going to 6.0,
and not many due, due to the fact it is still relatively new not going to
MPE 6.5 yet. Any thoughts or concerns about my approach?
