Here's slightly more detail on PAUSE. See
http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/onlinedocs.py?mpn=32650-90877&service=mpeix&path=../32650-90877/00/00/26&title=MPE/iX%20Commands%20Reference%20Manual
or just HELP PAUSE at the CI prompt, where it is explained at least as well
as I can explain it. You can
PAUSE JOB= jobid
or, more specifically,
PAUSE job="jbackup,op.sys"
The quotes are required for reasons explained in help. This command waits
while the job(s) described in the job argument exist; while they are
executing, waiting, or scheduled.
I seem to recall some discussion of a * rare * case when a job is streamed,
and the PAUSE is then issued, but the job table does not yet reflect the
just streamed job. So, it's probably worth searching Raven on PAUSE. Perhaps
those involved in that discussion can shed some light?
