Hello Folks @ 3000-l,

Re: Samba. IP traffic stops .

--------------------------------------------- Steve Belkacem writes --
Hi.... Has anyone had any problems with Samba and (I think) ODBC/SE.
I have enabled Samba on one of my boxes this afternoon, and though I
did not run anything on it, about an hour after this was enabled
no-one could access the box through the network. I have the same on
other HP's and these run without any problems. ODBC/SE was loaded a
few weeks ago. A patch was checked for this. Do I need to download the
Samba suite again so that the problem disappears.

Thanks in Advance
Steve

Two things to check (when the problem is seen):

1) Inbound buffer pool:

:nettool.net.sys;info="res;di;quit"
...
  2 NS XPORT 1536____ (G) Inbound Buf Pool 124 229 1365 :)
...

Look for any ":(" unhappy face's.

2) UDP port:
