Shawn G hit the nail squarely I bet!

Vesoft's manual hasn't been updated in years (mine says copyright 1980,
printed 1998), despite endless complaints and suggestions, nowadays usually
delivered in the form of sarcasm due to the stock response "It should be
hard to read - it was hard to write" (EV quote, '88 iirc); Alfredo's 'read a
manual like a love letter' analogy really really applies to this one ;-).

No updates to docs is bordering on ridiculous, especially considering that
this manual's built with Robelle's Prose, making reprints a snap. Gosh,
VeSoft, why not simply provide the original Prose file(s)?

I've had excellent results via email in the recent past, but Ron's email
address has changed, thus my original post.

I of course discovered that ::SETQUESTION is one of the better-documented
and not always annoying features of STREAMX, and it even hits the index (in
case you happen to know the keyword you're looking for, and that it's
prefixed with ::).

Does someone have a link to the recently built searchable Windoze Help
format Vesoft manuals? That must be on one of my uh, recycled hard drives,
but iirc it helped a lot in boiling down the 'light prose' ;-).

Thanks all,

Tracy Pierce
