At current prices, 4GB of memory goes for as little as $7,000. In five
years, it's not unreasonable to expect 4GB to be under $2,000.

PS. My July, 1977 HP3000 Price/Configuration Guide shows a price of
$5,000 for 64KB of add-on memory.
