Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are having problems with a new 929 with MPE/iX 6.0 losing connections
and being very slow with web "listeners." We are running a 10BaseT
transceiver to the AUI port on the HP3000. All is fine at remote sites that
connect via T1 to our routers. Our problem is in the internal users losing
their connections. They may have 2 connections open, but only one of them
will lock up. They are all running 100BaseT cards in the client machines
with a Cisco Catalyst Switch. Our thought is to replace the transceiver with
a true 10/100 NIC, one to speed up our internal connections, and two to also
give us better bandwidth to the switch. The web servers attach to the switch
and then to the HP. Also, if anyone is using Share Plex, we would love to
hear the comments and woes of using it.

Thanks, Josh Smith
