The "ADULTS ONLY" spam came through the netnews gateway to HP3000-L.  It
was spammed to hundreds of newsgroups.  Many of the articles were
canceled by the news.admin.net-abuse "anti-spam-bots" but unfortunately
too late to catch the article before it went through the gateway.

As stated some weeks ago, the netnews gateway has changed such that I
can no longer trap messages from there for moderation.  So my best
advise is to delete and ignore it and hope this isn't the start of a
trend (this one was forged particularly well to avoid the usual
detection methods).

At any rate, the proper authorities at the originating sites have been
notified -- this was a *very* widespread spam (DejaNews reports 6345
articles simply "following up" on the original posts which were
cancelled).
