Is there a method or utility available to change a file's dates to a
user-specified date (other than changing the current date on the system)?

Thanks to Robert, Ken, Steve and Ted for you help on
this. The best solution was to run the 'sh' with the
'-c option thus...

XEQ sh.hpbin.sys;INFO="-c 'touch -a
/!HPACCOUNT/!HPGROUP/*'"
